Welcome to LeadUp Coaching!  We’re glad you’re here because it means we’re on the same page. Leadership matters. Healthy leadership is necessary in the church and in organizations. Growing leaders in healthy ways takes intentional effort.

We live in a world where leadership matters. In our view, there are only two options for people who lead. You either lead up; or, you lead down. You either provide positive energy toward the mission of your congregation or organization or you provide drag.  LeadUp Coaching is committed to helping you develop leadership teams that lead up!

THE CHALLENGE OF LEADERSHIP

The challenge of leadership often starts with one leader. You realize things aren’t going well. Maybe your organization or church is sputtering (like a car in need of a tune-up). You know something’s not right, but you can’t really put your finger on it. Maybe it’s the overly verbal person/people dominating meetings. Maybe you’re aware that sometimes your suggestions are heard well and sometimes they fail. However it’s come to your attention, you know that you need to talk with someone who has led, who has failed, who has succeeded and who is still learning. LeadUp Coaching are those people waiting to talk with you about the challenge you’re facing.

BRING LIFE TO YOUR TEAM

You’re a leader who wants to bring life to your team.  How can that happen? Most often it starts with a conversation with you and often, with your leaders. We find that a 2 hr workshop that provides some foundational information for leadership conversations is the best way to start.

    We offer one on one coaching services to people looking to grow individually as a leader. You can use us to bounce general ideas of leadership, strategize how to lead through a decision you are facing or engage us in a longer conversation to help you identify your strengths and help you consider whether you can thrive where you are or whether a transitioning to a new chapter is in your future.

    We are experienced church folks. If it’s happened in the church, we’ve probably walked there or walked with someone who has been there. As pastors who have served or are serving churches who are in networks (classis or presbyteries, or districts for some of you), we’ve learned one common truth: Sometimes your first call for help needs to be to someone who isn’t in that network.
