ABOUT PROJECTS

Sometimes your staff and leadership are overwhelmed. Ministry is happening. Sundays and Wednesdays are busy for everyone – paid and volunteer staff alike. And then, a need arises that threatens to take you off mission or simply over-tax your staff. We can help.

We offer short term staff project contract support that brings expertise, experience and quality to your situation.  Here are some projects that fit our skill sets.

A church has supervision over a community center property, but the property is outside the church’s ministry area.  Leadership sees this property is costing the church money and resources. They are frustrated and want staff to deal with it. Let us help by providing a decision-making pathway, timeline and contract staff to get the decision made while your staff keeps focused on ministry.

A pastor has recently left a church. For the most part, the staff and volunteer leaders (Consistory/Council) are capable of moving forward with the ministry – they even have a retired pastor in the area who is willing to preach regularly, but doesn’t want to lead meetings, help the congregation have conversations about its next chapter of ministry or be part of helping a search process.  We can help. We are experienced pastors who can serve as part time staff to help leaders and the congregation have necessary conversations and move through a search process.

We’ve talked about and tried to start and/or strengthen our prayer ministry.  It starts, hesitates and sometimes even starts. We need someone who can help coach our prayer team with regularity. We’d love to even have a part time staff, but how do we find one? We have staff with the experience and ability to help start a prayer ministry. They can serve as staff to lead your team and eventually prepare a person of your choosing to be the staff person for that team.
